“When we bought our house in Flower Mound, it was with the understanding it was going to be a ‘work in progress’ for some time. It was a 3000 sq ft. log house with only one bedroom! We hired an architect to draw plans for a 3 new bedrooms/2 bath addition. Along with this was adding a dormer on the old side of the house as well as a complete kitchen demolition/redo. We interviewed many contractors, obtained bids, and contacted many referrals. Many of the referrals were willing to let us come look at their projects. While there were several bids lower than Jason Bimmerle’s, at the end of the day we chose him primarily based on conversations with his customers and seeing the quality of his work. Common themes were his willingness to work hands on with the client through the inevitable changes that will occur in every project. This was important for us as I knew my wife and I would be very ‘hands on’ and wanted a contractor that would work with us as a ‘team’. He excelled in this and our ‘teamwork’ actually became quite enjoyable. My wife often commented how appreciative she was that her ideas/concerns were given full attention. I watched him direct subs to tear work out and redo it when not up to his standards. He also has an excellent working relationship with Flower Mound’s City Hall which if you live in this city, will prove to be invaluable.
In an effort to reduce costs during the kitchen remodel, I did as much of the work as I was comfortable with and Jason freely gave me advice and guidance when requested. As stressful as projects like this can be, we very much enjoyed working with Jason and are very pleased with our new/old home! And the best part, we all came out the ‘other end’ as very good friends.”–Rex Madion
